About Us History Lynx Group was founded by owner, Richard Faith in 1979 as Salem Offset, which had its beginnings as a one-man operation providing print locally in Salem, Oregon. Within ten years, we had grown into PrintTek West and Artline of Beaverton was acquired. Soon after, the companies were merged into one location to form Lynx Communication Group, Inc. a commercial printer offering print solutions to clients nation-wide. “Lynx is large enough to manufacture your project and small enough to care.” After thirty years, Lynx Group’s goal today is the same as when we were first founded; to provide quality printing in a timely manner that is competitively priced. Team Lynx’s executive and production teams are comprised of industry professionals with the ability to provide you with sheet-fed and heat-set web printing, bindery, distribution, and mailing services; all at one location. Our campus of seven buildings spans 95,000 square feet and gives us the ability to manage your print project from start to finish. We recognized that direct-to-plate technology was the future of print, and made the transition in 1994 by installing the third CREO/Kodak Platesetter available nationwide.
